TA value from Nokia 3G

On the older Nokias it was possible to enable Net Monitor which
amongst other things, displayed the TA, (Time Advance) value which
could be used to calculate the distance to a cell, (to the nearest 550
meters).
I have two more modern Nokias now, 6124 classic and 6233. I have Cell
Track installed on the 6124 but it doesn't display TA. Is there anyway
to get a modern Nokia to display it?

There's no Time Advance in 3G...
